Suspected liver disease, what next?
Parents
If the cause of your baby’s jaundice is liver disease, they will be referred to a specialist for further investigation.
Download our leaflet, Conjugated Jaundice in Babies
(PDF, 1.2 MB) which will give you information on what is likely to happen next.
You can also
email a member of the families team
or call 0121 212 6023.
If you have a diagnosis,
please visit CLDF's main website for information on specific liver conditions.
Medical Professionals
Medical professionals requiring further advice should consult the
British Society of Paedeatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (BSPGHAN) guidelines for the investigation of neonatal jaundice
.
